I Can Child Care and Learning Center

A new PMA designed child care center is currently under construction in Hampton and is Slated to open in September of 2018.  This new 9,000 square foot facility for I Can Child Care and Learning Center will replace their current outdated and undersized facility which is located in a strip shopping center.  When completed the facility will have 8 classrooms for children ages 12 weeks to 5 years old and the support spaces needed to provide a variety of child care and preschool education services. 

As you approach the building, the front entry announces itself with a projected mass and a peeled-up canopy, both clad in a natural cedar rainscreen, while the bright green doors and signage present an air of whimsy.  Once inside, the center commons space ceiling rises-up like the front canopy to give the space a grand feel.   Through careful planning and thoughtful design, we were able to provide the owner with a unique facility that meets their needs and stayed within the budget.
