Architect Jeff Stodghill Celebrates 32 Years at PMA

When Jeff Stodghill returned to his hometown of Newport News to join his father Jack at the family-owned planning and management firm 32 years ago, it was a time of excitement and expectation.

Today, Jeff and his wife Katie have continued Jack’s legacy and built PMA Architecture into a successful design firm with active projects across the state. The pair have staffed a team with diverse skill sets and talents and created a portfolio full of award-winning projects, all while staying enthusiastic and passionate about what they do.

“We have seen a lot of changes in the architectural and design world over the decades, including a pandemic that forced us into a virtual environment. I’m very proud of how we have handled it and how our team has responded. We couldn’t do any of this without them,” says Jeff.
